The Resolve2B program is designed to focus on resilience-centered emotional learning that will meet the needs of the rising generation (ages 9-17), give them easy to incorporate, module-based strategies and an engagement plan to create intentional follow up with students to cement learning in real-world applications.

As an Executive Director of Resolve2B Foundation, Susan leads with vision, compassion, and a deep commitment to building resilience, safety, and opportunity for the next generation.

Reggie Smith brings the spirit of a teammate, the vision of a strategist, and the relentless drive of a former NFL player to Resolve2B Foundation. In every leadership role—from business to education to community—he’s delivered meaningful change by turning ideas into reality. As CSO, Reggie champions bold partnerships and programs that empower youth to face challenges with confidence and resilience.

With a doctorate in Educational Leadership and a master’s in Education Administration, Melissa has built a career in advancing public education—most recently overseeing curriculum and instruction in a major urban district.

Katie Millar is an Ameriprise Financial Advisor serving the Joliet, IL area. Throughout her 19 years of experience in the industry, Katie has developed a passion for helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their & financial goals. Her expertise lies in retirement planning, tax planning, and wealth preservation, with a personalized approach to & financial planning and tailored strategies to each client's circumstance. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 kids and their involvement in youth sports. She is a board member of the Will County Children's Advocacy Center and a proud Board Member of the Resolve 2B Foundation.

Liz Nicholson is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and public service. She has been honored as “Woman of the Year” and awarded for her advocacy and fundraising on behalf of athletes, veterans, and their families. As CEO of a woman-owned consulting firm, she has helped national organizations raise millions for education, health equity, and youth resilience. Liz is dedicated advocate for brain health after her husband’s early-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis, she serves on the boards of the Concussion Legacy Foundation and Gridiron Greats.
Chicago-born and inspired by her mother’s CPS service, Liz is driven by service and equity. She and her husband, Gerry, live in the 44th Ward.

With 15 years in government and corporate program management, she is skilled in leading workshops and presentations on preventative care, nutrition, lifestyle, and mental health.
